Questions

Who can participate? +
The event is open to all. Minimum age on race day: 8 years for 5 KM, 14 years for 10 KM and 18 years for the Half Marathon.
What is the IIT Alumni Connect Run? +
A special category introduced in the 8th Edition, open to alumni of any of the 23 IITs. It includes a premium t-shirt, cap, sipper and a dedicated Alumni Leaderboard.
Is the run timed? +
Yes — all three categories are chip-timed. Every runner gets an official chip time and a downloadable e-certificate.
What is included in the registration? +
Race bib with timing chip, event t-shirt, finisher medal, e-certificate, hydration and medical support on course, and refreshments at the finish.
Can I transfer or change my category? +
Category changes may be permitted until the registration window closes, subject to a fee difference. Transfers to another runner are not allowed.
Is the registration fee refundable? +
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Where do I collect my bib? +
At the Bib Expo on 23–24 October 2026. Venue and timings are announced on the Bib Expo page closer to race day. There is no bib collection on race-day morning.

Race rules

Carry a valid government photo ID and your confirmation email to the Bib Expo.

Race bibs must be worn on the front and be clearly visible at all times.

Headphones, pets, cycles, prams and personal pacers are not permitted on course.

Runners must follow marshal instructions and stay within the marked course.

A runner who misses the category cut-off may be withdrawn from the course.

Littering outside designated zones leads to disqualification — this is a #RunGreen event.
